I have been playing drums since the age of 4, and have been playing in a formal jazz band since the 8th grade. Students auditioned for placement in the Mercer Island Jazz program. Jazz Ensemble was also a class taken during school hours.  We performed during the school year throughout Washington State. I have also played for hire at random events.
